Wanted Freedom

A powerful metal album released in 1990 by the Melodiya label at the Leningrad recording studio. Lineup: Bogaev-Rautkin-Lyskovsky-Lukin with drummer Yury Korablev of Autodafe. Sound engineer Yury Morozov, cover art by Arkhangelsk artist, photographer, and keeper of Arkhangelsk rock history Sergey Supalov. The album sold in huge quantities across the country and stunned listeners: the band predicted the August putsch almost a year and a half before it happened. These were the years of the band's most powerful lineup — the period when Oblachny Kray reached the peak of its creative output.
