About the band's approach to interviews
Облачный Край operated primarily in the Soviet underground, where interviews and public statements carried different risks than in the Western music scene. The band's output — recorded on cassette tapes and distributed by hand — was their main form of communication with their audience.
Sergey Bogaev, the founder and creative force of the band, was known for being intensely private. He preferred to let the music carry the message.
