With Oblachny Kray he recorded in the summer of 1985 at Andrey Tropillo's studio, playing saxophone on the title song of «Stremya i Lyudi». He had not yet joined DDT then, but the band's site calls him “the saxophonist from DDT”, the way rock fans know him.

By his recollection, Oblachny Kray was “truly a cool rock band” and Sergey Bogaev an outstanding musician and songwriter; he was glad to record with them.
